The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased 0.1 percentage points to 3% for the period between January and March 2024, compared with December 2023 to February 2024, the Census & Statistics Department announced today. The underemployment rate also edged up 0.1 percentage points to 1.1%.

2022年12月7日 · 聯合國大學生義工實習計劃重啟. 2022年12月7日. 民政及青年事務局推出新一輪 聯合國志願人員組織---香港大學生義工實習計劃 ，為本地大學生提供明年3月至8月到聯合國轄下海外服務單位義務實習的寶貴機會，本月29日截止報名。 計劃設有15個實習崗位，分布於印尼、馬來西亞、尼泊爾和泰國，涵蓋衞生與教育、環境和創新管理等範疇。 申請人須為就讀本地大學全日制學士學位課程的香港永久性居民。 民青局會提供香港至實習地點的來回機票、每月生活津貼等，也會連同義務工作發展局在出發前安排合適的訓練活動。 受新冠疫情影響，民青局早前暫緩舉辦境外青年實習和交流活動。 對於上述計劃重啟，成為民青局首個復辦的境外青年項目，局長麥美娟表示高興。

The Chief Executive today appointed Stephen Yiu as Chairman and 12 other individuals as non-executive directors (NEDs) of the Insurance Authority (IA) for a term of three years from December 28.
