Patient Medicine Information. Why do I need this medicine? Bromhexine is used to help clear the chest by making the phlegm (mucus) less sticky and thick so that it can be easier to cough up. It is usually used in certain conditions, such as common cold, flu, or infection of the airways, where excess phlegm is produced. How do I take this medicine?
Dosage/Direction for Use. IM Primary vaccination schedule of 2 doses (0.5 mL each): Initial dose followed by 2nd dose 2 mth later. If flexibility in the vaccination schedule is necessary, 2nd dose can be administered between 2 & 6 mth after the 1st dose.
