The heart of the SENTINEL S.W.S. is the SENTINEL Mk-1 short action produced by Defiance Machine in Montana. This action offers mission specific features that are machined integral to the receiver from one block of steel. All final dimensional machining is completed after heat treat.
The KMW Mk-1 is a true premium DBM bottom metal. Each is precision machined in accordance to my original design. All edges are generously chamfered to eliminate sharp corners that are common with budget designs. This Gen II iteration includes the new KMW Captv-Mag feature that limits magazine overtravel with AICS pattern magazines.
The LoggerHead A.C.P. hardware is primarily designed to work with the excellent McMillan Fiberglass Stocks and Manners Composite Stocks that are molded with separate integral adjustable cheek piece. It can also be custom installed in properly made synthetic and wood laminate stocks available from other manufacturers.
There are 4 varieties of molded in colors. Most have HV barrel channels. Some are inletted for the KMW MUNSter NV mount. Descriptions in the KMW web store will specifically describe each. All parts kits will include: >KMW Integrated Mounting Block for Short Action, RH, Rem 700 style actions. The stocks were inletted for the Gen 1 version.
Extra Long Column set for KMW LoggerHead ACP hardware is a direct replacement for the standard length legs. Easily installed with 5/16" Hex Drive. This set allows 0.560" higher maximum adjustment range for your cheekpiece position.
