Tab Adult & childn >6 yr 1-2 tab 3-5 times daily. Inj Adult & adolescent >12 yr 20-40 mg by slow IV, IM or SC several times daily. Max: 100 mg daily. Dosage/Direction for Use. Effervescent tab Adult 600 mg daily (preferably in the evening). Granules for oral soln Adult 200 mg bid-tid. Childn 100 mg bid-qid according to age. Duration or treatment: 5-10 days in acute phase. May be continued for several mth in chronic state. Inhalant Nebulize 1 amp once-bid for ≥5-10 days. IM inj 1 amp once-bid.
