2023年2月3日 · Trader在買賣證券時，自由度較大，往往是公司撥一筆資金，只要按照公司的大框架，Trader就可以在交易時段炒上炒落，買賣什麼貨全由自己作主，運用自己的策略，最後就正式「埋單」計數，看看替公司賺幾多錢。 Dealer的角色就很不同，主要是按「Order」做事，自由度相對低很多。 例如，上頭要求買某隻股票，指明要買多少，Dealer就要設法以最低價錢掃入上頭要求的貨，過程中沒有什麼策略可謂，亦不可有太多自己的想法。 從工作性質就不難看到，Trader的技術含量高很多，所以人工普遍高過Dealer，而且替公司賺到的錢，亦可以拆帳抽佣，而Dealer自然沒有分佣這回事，最多只是按工作表現出花紅。 不過值得留意，市場上的職位名稱有時未必可以作準，最重要還是看招聘廣告寫明的工作內容。
