We just returned from a trip through Taiwan in January by car and wanted to share this experience here. Beforehand I couldn’t find much information regarding the use of a car, so maybe people will find it handy. Finding a nice rental car for a somewhat cheaper price was quite hard. eventually we paid NT 20,000 for a brand new Toyota Prius.
I like Costco because it brings up some of the majors at once....Avis, Budget, Enterprise and Alamo. For instance, right now my car booked through Costco with Budget is almost $200 less than booking with Budget directly. I've canceled and re-booked several times already and still have 3 months to go.

How far do we have to walk to the rental location after picking up our luggage? Do we have to take a tram or train to get to the rental location ? Or just easy few mins walk from the terminal?
I plan to go with Avis as so many on the forum have recommended/used them. We need a car for our 5 days in Cape Town and 2 in Franschhoek. Avis has an option of Mobile Wi-Fi. Has anyone ever purchased this option? If so, was it worth it? Here is what Avis
