2023年2月2日 · 新冠疫情爆發初期重創本地航空及旅遊業，機管局於2020年4月推出20億元紓緩措施，包括向本地航空公司購買50萬張機票。 另外，全港有逾1.6萬間商店將提供旅客優惠，當局亦將派出100萬份「香港有禮-旅客消費優惠券」，每份價值至少港幣100元。 訪港旅客可憑券在參與的酒吧、餐廳和酒店享用迎賓飲品，或於交通工具、餐飲零售、商戶及景點兌換獎賞。 優惠券將由今日下午5時起、在4個旅發局旅客諮詢中心派發。 文化體育及旅遊局局長楊潤雄指，希望藉此表達對旅客的熱烈歡迎，及豐富他們來港的體驗。 旅遊發展局總幹事程鼎一指，整個宣傳計劃初步投資1億，主要為旅發局的宣傳開支，包括拍攝影片、到外國參展、邀請海外媒體來港體驗等費用，不涉及派發機票的費用。

2024年5月11日 · 2024年5月11日星期六. 機管局：8新增自由行城市4有直航 下月再增哈爾濱 (19:40) 圖1之1. 機場管理局發出新聞稿，歡迎中央政府宣布將個人遊計劃 (俗稱自由行)擴展至8個內地城市。 該局指擴展個人遊計劃預計將有助推動香港與相關城市的航班連接，進一步提升香港國際機場的航空交通量及旅客量。 機管局指在新增的8個城市當中，4個與香港國際機場有直航航班連接，分別為山西省太原市、甘肅省蘭州市、寧夏回族自治區銀川市及新疆維吾爾自治區烏魯木齊市。 該局又指航空公司亦已計劃於2024年6月增設往來黑龍江省哈爾濱市，以及加密往來烏魯木齊市的航班。 隨著香港加強與該8個城市的連繫及增加經濟活動，預料將鼓勵航空公司增設往來有關城市的直航服務。
