14 years ago. Both my husband and I were completely unprepared for the level of prostitution in Shanghai around Peoples Square and Nanjing Road East. We had read about Shanghai, looked on tripadvisor etc. and there was very little about it besides men alone might be approached. Nothing could have prepared us for what we saw.
2015年1月2日 · It's a great place to spend a day exploring and learning about Chinese culture. Just be sure to go during the week if you want to avoid the crowds. Tips: 1. Visit during the week to avoid the crowds. 2. Wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be doing a lot of walking. 3. Bring a camera to capture all the beautiful sights.

As a couple and also with a group of friends. Set your expectations for the price you're paying to go on this cruise. You can't have champagne expectations on a beer budget.
