2022年10月25日 · Lee Jonas has signed a new, extended contract with Liverpool FC. The 18-year-old centre-back originally joined the Reds from Everton at U12 level. Good on the ball and strong in the air, Jonas has progressed through the age groups to become a regular member of Barry Lewtas’ U21s squad.
Jay Spearing made an emotional return to Liverpool FC in June 2022 when he joined the club's Academy in the role of U18s coach. The former FA Youth Cup-winning captain, who first came to the club at the age of seven having been spotted playing for Wallasey-based junior side Greenleas FC, works alongside U18s manager Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.
