首席研究員: 許守仁. 研究員: 吳鴻偉. 2021年，本中心受澳門特別行政區教育及青年局（DSEDJ）邀請為「全球學生閱讀能力進展研究」（PIRLS） 2021（第4階段）提供諮詢和研究服務。 這個為期半年的項目由許守仁博士、吳鴻偉博士帶領，旨在確保研究過程和質量都符合「國際教育成績評估協會」（IEA）在PIRLS 2021所要求的標準。 諮詢和研究包括：分析澳門整體學生的閱讀素養數據、與PIRLS 2016 [1] 結果進行比較、提供學校報告及期末報告架構諮詢等，並提供專業知識和建議，從旁協助檢視澳門小學學生閱讀素養，客觀評估小四學生的閱讀能力，作為學校改革閱讀課程、改進教師教學方法。
2017年10月1日 · The research and development project intends to promote Chinese Language learning and cater for learning diversity among primary and secondary non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students, especially through curriculum planning and optimising learning and teaching with the Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Learning Framework.
