香港急症科醫學院. 災難應變基礎課程由 香港急症科醫學院災難醫學小組委員會 主辦，旨在提升參與人士的人道救援及災難管理意識，並培訓他們成為未來領袖。 課程適合有志從事海外人道救援工作的醫護人員參與；透過訂立核心技能要求清單，受訓者能有效掌握成為專業救援人員需具備的條件。 災難應變進階課程. 天然或人為災難發生頻率及造成的破壞有異，部分難以預測，對公共衞生系統帶來不同程度的影響。 災難生還率取決於多項因素，當中以醫院應付重大事故能力、公共衞生設施資源是否充夠，以及能否應付大型傷亡最為重要。 我們深明確保醫院在災難發生時保持有效運作及為受影響人士提供服務的重要性。 災難應變進階課程旨在培訓醫療及行政人員，確保他們在災難發生前能妥善準備相關醫護設施，以有效支援救援及災後復原的工作。
HKJCDPRI is based at the HKAM, and partners with CCOUC, HKU and Harvard. We focus on the need for competencies on knowledge, skills as well as attitude to reduce disaster loss and suffering. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute (HKJCDPRI) was set up in 2014 with the generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Housed in and led by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, the HKJCDPRI aims to build a prepared community in Hong Kong to respond to disasters.

HKJCDPRI collaborates with different organisations and schools on “Community Campaign on Disaster Resilience” to deliver public awareness and education campaigns, tailored to the specific potential hazards the community is facing.
