Answer 1 of 12: Hello there. We are visiting next month and have to get a train from Dusseldorf airport into Dortmund with Manchester City FC. Can you tell me how frequent the trains are and at what return cost?.. Many thanks. Simon
1. Re: Best way to Dortmund fc from cologne airport. 10 years ago. Take the train. If you stick to regional trains you can get a mini group (up to 5 persons) day ticket for EUR 39,50. You can buy this ticket on spot from the ticket machines at Cologne Airport (CGN) train station. But also online in advance.

I've looked on the http://www.bvb.de/ site but they dont seem to have tickets very far in advance. Leaving late means more expensive flights etc. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks, Colin.
