2023年10月19日 · 涉去年油塘地盤工字鐵塌斃工友事故的「精進建築工程有限公司」，屋宇署昨宣布拒絕續期申請，下月16日起由一般建築承建商名冊除名。 土力工程處前處長、工程師學會前會長陳健碩表示，過往工程公司被除牌並不常見，通常涉及嚴重事故，亦不會交代原因。 同屬興聯集團的「精進建築有限公司」早前涉及安達臣道地盤事故，陳健碩今早於港台節目上稱，無法估計「精進建築有限公司」會否同被除牌，指當局並無公開列明什麼情况下決定工程公司除牌與否，「或者你要死幾多人先除牌」，而是經委員會在面試時的專業判斷，決定是否有信心申請人可令工程符合《建築物條例》，強調沒有一條「方程式」。 工權會總幹事蕭倩文認為，如「精進建築工程有限公司」只涉一宗意外仍需被除牌，相信「精進建築有限公司」的處罰亦不會有太大改變。
