Tunnelbear, it works fine so far. Besides, it is nothing like China. Just a bunch of news websites, Linked In and torrent trackers and some extremist stuff. You'll have access to everything you need without VPN, I'm 99% sure of it.

6 years ago. Indeed, some are blocked. I use Tunnelbear but that has been blocked for sometime. Then I tried Private Tunnel and that also now is blocked. I am using Express VPN ( not to be confused with VPN Express which is blocked ), and it works most of the time.

Skype and whatsapp video chat does usually work with adsl but not always with the mobile data sims cards. May work if you have a vpn but it depends on which as many are blocked by the Egyptian government. I used to use Tunnelbear but that is now blocked
