据介绍,许多后天致盲的视障者,通常在数年之后将会失去视觉记忆。 针对这种内心的“盲态”,渣打银行与北京红丹丹教育文化交流中心合作,在渣打银行内部员工中招募志愿者,经专业培训后,为视障者讲电影,或录制供视障者使用的有声图书,从而为视障人士描绘更广阔世界。 在华北,30 名员工志愿者来到天津耀华小学为约100名小学生发放了爱眼工具包,通过真人版大家来找茬、盲人捏象等游戏,推广爱眼意识和常识,在互动中实现预防失明的公益目的。 自2003 年启动至今,“ 看得见的希望” 在全球范围内已经惠及4,100 多万人,为291万人提供了视力恢复服务,筹集5,800 多万美元(包括银行匹配捐赠的善款),资助了81个项目。
