At a ATM in Tsim Sha Shui, the ATM limited my withdrawal to only HK$100 whereas I wanted to withdraw HKD 2000 and there was a pop up which warned me that there is a minimum surcharge of HKD 30 imposed for each withdrawal.
Answer 1 of 5: Re ATMs in Hong Kong - are these numerous? Safe? Do they display the PLUS symbol, which means anyone with a cashflow card having this symbol can use it to withdraw cash from the ATM in local currency? This info is annoyingly hard to find
