背景. 香港九成的電力用於建築物,逾五成的碳排放來自建築物耗能相關的電力生產。 為爭取於2050年前實現碳中和,香港特別行政區政府在《香港氣候行動藍圖2050》已經訂立目標,通過提高建築物能源效益去減少香港建築物的整體用電量,目標是在2050年或之前,商業樓宇用電量較2015年減少30%至40%,以及住宅樓宇用電量減少20%至30%。 我們希望在2035年或之前能達到以上目標的一半。 《建築物能源效益條例》第610章(簡稱《條例》)規定若干類型的建築物須遵行關於屋宇裝備裝置的能源效益標準及進行能源審核。 《條例》實施至今,已有超過2 000幢新建建築物及超過13 000項現有建築物的主要裝修工程符合能源效益標準。 另外,有超過2 600幢商業樓宇已完成首次能源審核。
