Hokkien POJ. Bú-hàn. Wuhan [a] is the capital of Hubei Province in the People's Republic of China. [15] With a population of over eleven million, it is the most populous city in Hubei and the ninth most populous city in China. [16] It is also one of the nine national central cities.
