2015年9月2日 · It was great when we had a longer jobsdb retention, because in NMC we could see and select the savegroup logs when the group was really doing something (vs. daily status about the big nothing.. We can live without that great feature that we could see what's happened in the past to our weekly jobs, it's much bigger problem that a failed savegroup turns to successful after 4 days (now).

2012年12月4日 · In networker 8 we have new SQLite database for jobsdb and it is said that the new database is no longer searchable as was the database used in previous versions of NetWorker. What does it mean and why is it not searchable? savegroup details are now stored in jobsdb.

2020年12月28日 · The status of a policy as displayed in the Monitoring tab is stored in the jobsdb database. The nsrjobd daemon is one of the NetWorker server daemons. It is responsible for spawning and monitoring of jobs of NetWorker client binaries.This database is not automatically updated, therefore, the policy will show under the monitoring tab until the jobsdb retention period is met.
