1 四月. 《尋找你我他的皇都》 新世界復修皇都戲院在即 舉辦代入式歷史體驗活動 鄭志剛：「皇都好戲尚未完場，將締造藝術文化全新地標」 圖片: 7. 皇都好戲尚未完場！ 新世界發展延續皇都戲院未了經典，首辦代入式（immersive）歷史體驗活動《尋找你我他的皇都》。 參加者從踏入皇都戲院商場的一刻，便仿如置身50年代皇都戲院的華麗舞台，從售票處接過一張舊式戲票開始，展開第一身體驗之旅，親睹皇都前世今生，由璇宮戲院、「小上海」到皇都戲院，由國際級表演到中西首輪電影，親歷一幕幕扣人心弦的歷史片段。 新世界發展去年成功取得擁有68年歷史的英皇道279-291號皇都戲院大廈業權後，宣佈將盡力復修屬一級歷史建築的前戲院部分，包括天台俗稱「飛拱」的桁架建築，目標是建構一個藝術文化表演的全新地標。
1995年的四級大火更令皇都不少地方變成頹垣敗瓦，現今滲水、批盪剝落隨處可見。 皇都戲院於1997年結業，其後被改建成桌球室，輝煌一時的戲院及超等座，都已被廢置。 已收集逾百件皇都文物 助窺探當年原貌. 新世界復修皇都戲院，將以國際權威保育標凖為原則。 在初步保育構思中，會盡力保留整個戲院建築及天台桁架。 集團亦將重塑戲院部分，並賦予新蘊，建構一個文化藝術表演場所，舉辦嶄新而多元化的國際級文化活動，希望喚醒沉睡已久的皇都戲院，注入新的文化精髓。
