票據在交換日提交到結算公司。結算公司將票據處理後，在交換日午夜時開始派發給付款銀行。付款銀行會查核收回來的票據，然後在下一個工作日 ( 交換日+1日 ) 把任何未能兌現的票據交付予結算公司。同業的票據結算會在交換日+1日進行。
