2024年2月1日 · 在市民置業負擔方面，目前的置業負擔比率為百分之七十二，仍然比過去20年長期平均值百分之五十一為高，顯示整體樓價仍處於一般市民較難負擔的水平。 供應量方面，隨着政府持續有序地增加房屋土地供應，政府預計未來三至四年的一手私人住宅供應量仍維持在較高水平，約有十萬多個單位，反映私人市場住宅供應是穩定的。 樓市表現受到許多不同因素影響，我們認為主要影響因素是利率相對高企和地緣政治的影響，現時樓市出現調整仍然屬於有序調整。 政府會繼續以動態方式密切監察不同因素，在住宅物業市場方面，適時作合適安排，以確保樓市穩健發展。 今天出席的財經事務及庫務局副局長稍後會就股市和財金範疇作回應，現在我就議員對房屋政策方面提及的幾個主要意見作回應。
2022年5月23日 · Consumer Price Indices for April 2022. The Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) released today (May 23) the Consumer Price Index (CPI) figures for April 2022. According to the Composite CPI, overall consumer prices rose by 1.3% in April 2022 over the same month a year earlier, smaller than the corresponding increase (1.7%) in March 2022.
