- 法例有否強制使用兒童汽車座椅？根據香港法例第 374F 章道路交通（安全裝備）規例第 7 條，目前只要求 3 歲以下的嬰幼兒於乘坐私家車前座時，必須使用具保護性的兒童汽車座椅（兒童座椅），又稱兒童安全帶裝置。
- 建議使用兒童汽車座椅年齡。雖然現時未有硬性規定 2 歲以上兒童使用兒童汽車座椅，但據警務處出版的「記得佩戴安全帶」單張所示，體重 9 kg（20 磅）以下不能自己坐穩的嬰兒（約 12 個月大或以下），應躺在手提式嬰兒床上（9 個月以下的嬰兒可用嬰兒籃）；而體重 9 - 18 kg（20 磅至 40 磅）可自己坐穩的兒童（約 9 個月至 4 歲），則最好使用兒童汽車座椅。
