2016年6月17日. 天氣狀況一向是英國人經常談及的話題，而本星期曾前往雅士谷觀賽的人士，相信都能目睹英國夏季常見的情景 — 時常下著傾盆大雨，但偶然亦會露出一道金色的陽光。 但這幾天以來，下雨的時間遠比陽光普照多，對於香港代表「大運財」而言實非喜訊。 由高伯新訓練的「大運財」，將於本週六（6月18日）角逐鑽禧錦標（1200米一級賽）。 即使「大運財」至今的備戰進度順利，但若然比賽當日下暴雨的話，一切的準備工夫或者也是徒然。 在今年皇家雅士谷賽期的首三個賽日，場地一直維持軟慢狀況，而這情況並不常見。 氣象部門預測今天（星期五）將會再下大雨。 「此刻的心情難免有點緊張，皆因隨時也有機會下大雨，導致場地狀況十分不明確，因此只能聽天由命。 我們相當滿意馬兒的狀態，現在只好時刻留意天氣變化。
