There are four main types of Membership of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, namely Racing Membership, Full Membership, The Racing Club Membership and Corporate Membership, with special privileges and services attached to each type.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Young Owners and Young Members are aspiring individuals with achievements of their own. Being top tier young elites, they are enthusiasts in life whom have passion for racing sport and finer things in life.
Signing Rights for Spouse. Members may apply for supplementary cards for their spouses to enable them to use the Club's facilities. Signing Rights for Children. Members may also apply for supplementary cards for their unmarried children between 8 and 21 years old.
Full Members and Racing Members of the Hong Kong Jockey Club can become horse owners if they are successful in the annual Horse Ballot. Horse Ballot Application usually opens in March or April each year. There are two types of application forms:
Mondays to Sundays: 9:00am - 6:00pm. (except on the first telephone booking day of a race meeting, the operation hours are from 10:00am - 6:00pm; and for night race meetings, the operation hours are from 9:00am - 11:00pm) Members' Mobile App Booking Operation Hours.
Some tables are designated for whole table reservation at MB4 Members Box 4/F (Section 2 – Hong Kong Sixties and Section 3 – Pak Hop) at Sha Tin Racecourse. For more details, please call the Members Services Hotline.
Blazers/suit jackets over shirts, with a standard neck tie or bow tie, long trousers and closed-toe shoes are required for gentlemen. Dresses, blouses with skirts or long trousers. Ties are optional from May to October. Unacceptable Attire.
