2024年5月16日 · Someone on Reddit says their new 11” iPad Air M2 (i.e. the new Air) fits the keyboard folio from their old 11” iPad Pro M1 (3rd gen, where current is 5th gen). I have no reason to disbelieve it, as I have also read the same thing about iPad Air 5th Gen the new M2 (6th gen) fitting the same case, which implies that the new Air will fit the SKF of the previous Air.
2024年5月7日 · The Smart Keyboard Folio on my iPad Pro (3 gen) has been delivering perfect service for my use cases. I often have to fold the keyboard and use the iPad as a book. Not having the Smart Keyboard Folio available for the new iPad Pro is a no-go for me. I won’t buy the new iPad Pro (although I crave for more power) until I find a decent solution.

2020年3月28日 · Yes it charges via the smart connector freeing up the iPads USB-C for other usage. What we don't know os if the charging speeds are different. There was a charging stand (I think made by 12 South) that charges the first iPad with the smart connector but the charging speeds were slow.

The magic keyboard is so new it's hard to say how it will hold up over time, but mine seems like a better build quality than the smart keyboard I used with old 9.7 pro. However, the smart keyboard I used it only occasionally and it never frayed like yours.
