A search of the forum for Damping System Service doesn't find anything, so it may be rare. I don't think you have active damping, but the TrackHawk and SRT may.

2015年9月3日 · Step 2 – Install new TPS. To install a new TPS, attach it to the throttle body and then tighten down the two Torx screws so that it's securely attached to the throttle body. Reconnect the electrical harness so that it clicks into place. Then you're all done. With the new TPS installed, your Jeep should be performing and throttling much better.

To maintain an engine idle, the engine's computer must determine the correct idle speed, then adjust air-fuel and ignition timing to reach it. Keeping an engine running at idle is harder than while rotating at 3,000 RPM, because the centrifugal force created helps keep it running.

I have a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with the 5.7L Engine with tow package. I plan on towing a 2019 Ketstone Hideout 178LHS travel trailer. Loaded max weight will be 4500 Lbs or less.

Ensure your Jeep is parked on a level surface, and if you're using some type of lifting device, ensure the truck is safe and secure from falling. Using the socket as well as ratchet, loosen and remove all of the bolts holding the cover to the housing.

I told him I had trade in my BMW X3 for the Jeep. He told me he has towed more BMW's than Jeeps. Glad I didn't listen to consumer reports.
