MCS opens with 12 students in the convent parlour at 103 Austin Road with Sr Mary Paul in charge. Sr Ann Mary Farrell replaces Sr Mary Paul as Principal of the Secondary Section. The new building at Waterloo Road and Boundary Street becomes the new MCS.

On 28 June, the Graduation Mass and the Speech Day Ceremony were conducted in the school halls of the Primary and Secondary Sections respectively, marking the end of the six-year journey of our Form 6 graduates.
