2023年6月30日 · Established in 1998, North District Hospital (NDH) is an acute hospital in the New Territories East Cluster (NTEC) of the Hospital Authority (HA). It provides 24-hour accident and emergency (A&E) service and a wide range of secondary care services with emphasis on ambulatory care as well as community outreach services.
The expansion of North District Hospital (NDH) is one of the highlights of the Hospital Authority 10-year Hospital Development Plan. Established in 1998, NDH is an acute hospital in the New Territories East Cluster (NTEC) of the Hospital Authority (HA), serving patients from North District, Tai Po and Sha Tin with a planned capacity of 600 beds.
Upon completion of the expansion project, the following services will be provided: In-patient; Accident & Emergency; Radiology and Diagnostic; Peri-operative; Day Surgery; Ambulatory; Pharmacy; Allied Health
The construction of the North District Community Health Centre Building is anticipated to be completed as soon as late April 2024 and then handed over to North District Hospital.
Key improvements. The Expansion of North District Hospital is expected to bring a number of improvements to the hospital's clinical services. Add around 1500 hospital beds. Add 10 operating theatres. Provision of a new 24-hour Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department. Improve ambulatory care and nursing services.
