  1. 2023年10月5日 · The only differences I've seen are 17 vs P80 markings. If I remember correctly the Gen 1 17 has a serial number that starts with GEN1 and the P80 is a random block of numbers. I'm about 95% sure on the serial numbers. Also, pretty sure the 17 presentation box has a little cloth tab to make it easier to open.

  2. 2023年12月31日 · Also have both and concur. The P80 has a 'P80' slide marking (instead of '17') and a standard serial number. The Gen 1 17 has a 5-digit numeric serial number with a GEN1 suffix and a '17' slide marking. Neither offering is a true Gen 1 as they are built on Gen 3 frames, slides, and internals.

  3. 2021年8月31日 · A P80 build generally refers to a DIY firearm that uses GLOCK parts or GLOCK-inspired parts. There are enough companies making aftermarket parts you can build a whole handgun, without using anything officially GLOCK (or at least get very close). “P80” is a brand and I believe they were offering complete firearms.

  4. 2020年7月6日 · His on the left is a P80 PF9SS, the one on the right, his friends, is the SS80 model. When I load all 3 of mine, they look like your friends on the right. The ejector does touch the rim and does two things, 1) it will move the magazine to the right in the cavity and 2) it will slightly push the round to the right in the back, and I mean slightly, like your friends.

  5. 2023年9月8日 · Another recent thread (on the other forum) inspired me to think about sear engagement or coverage with our Polymer80 builds. Glock's own armorer's manual stipulates at least 2/3rds coverage. Sear engagement is considered a primary safety issue. Our own "FTQ" (first time quality) guidelines prefer 3/4 coverage or better!

2021年1月26日 · Glock Serial Number and P80. I have a couple of technical questions that I hope someone might be able to answer as it relates to building a P80. More particularly, marrying a Glock OEM upper with a P80. So let’s say Fred buys a P80 kit that is unserialized. Fred also orders a complete Glock OEM upper.

2022年3月3日 · The P80 is a upgraded Glock clone. A 1911 grip angle, texturing on the grip is easier to hold. Normally built with broach cut rifling, not polygonal, so you can shoot lead bullets without any danger. Built in picatinny rail for easy mounting of lights and laser.

  8. 2021年4月10日 · You MUST use a Gen 4 G21/21SF trigger housing in the PF45 frame. With the PF45 frame, I would not trust it to hold together if one were to open up the front to fit a Gen 4/5 slide. The frame will be very thin at the accessory rail grooves. Here is a photo of a 940C and a 940CL frame. Notice how much thicker the 940CL frame is compared to the 940C.

  9. 2024年8月7日 · Glock Date Codes by Serial Number. I included all of the US imported and non-imported 17.1 serial number prefix that I am aware of, and have found examples for most. Appreciate the help of anyone who has additional info (particularly the data in Yellow and Red below). You can post pictures in the thread or send them directly via PM and I'll ...

2023年8月26日 · P80 G17 issue. I’ve currently built a P80 G17 with both the frame and slide completed. However, I’m having some trouble getting the slide to go on correctly. When I attach the slide to the frame, the barrel lugs appear to be catching on the locking block. This doesn’t allow the slide to fully go back and lock to the rear.
