   3450地區介紹 - Rotary District 3450. 1931年2月20日，扶輪首次踏足香港。 時任香港大學校長康寧爵士（Sir William Woodward Hornell）成立了香港第一個扶輪社，名為香港扶輪社，並擔任創社社長。 10年之後，扶輪社在太平洋戰爭期間停辦，並在1946年恢復。 後來，香港扶輪社於1947年贊助澳門扶輪社成立，及於1948年贊助九龍扶輪社成立。 當時，我們的扶輪社屬於96地區，隨後在1950年改屬57地區。 然而，在中國的新政策下，我們的地區劃分於1951年被取消。 復辦扶輪和建立新社的努力於1960年7月1日取得了成果，當時來自香港、澳門和台灣的17個扶輪社共764名社員被編入345地區。
