Do you want to change the look of your textured walls or fix small holes and dents on the surface? If you want your walls perfectly smoothed out, skim coating is the perfect fix. A skim coat on walls or drywall is a thin layer of joint compound (drywall mud) that fills in the small imperfections and leaves a smooth, clean finish.
Skim coating is so easy to do on your own and we’ve got everything you’ll need to know for your project. Keep reading, and we’ll walk you through how to skim coat a wall from start to finish!
