The jurisdiction of the Small Claims Tribunal is set out under section 5 of the Small Claims Tribunal Ordinance, Chapter 338 of the Laws of Hong Kong. The Small Claims Tribunal will hear any monetary claim founded in contract, quasi‐contract and tort where the amount claimed is not more than HK$75,000.
