That said, I would not normally take "Thank you for your patience" as being anything other than polite. "Thank you for tolerating me" sounds odd and passive-aggressive.

"Thank you for your time" is only used in English when someone has ACTIVELY spent their time other than waiting. I would not use Thank you for your time when someone has just been waiting patiently for you.

As usual we need context to know what register you would be well advised to take. To crave someone's indulgence was quite a common way of asking someone politely to be generous to you in some way.
