The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, [ 1] commonly known as the Hong Kong Government or HKSAR Government, is the executive authorities of Hong Kong. It was formed on 1 July 1997 in accordance with the Sino-British Joint Declaration of 1983, an international treaty lodged at the United Nations.
Upon receiving a HKSAR Re-entry Permit application from a child aged below 16, the Immigration Department will mail the consenting parent or legal guardian (i.e. the one who has signed on the application form) a Collection Notice indicating the date and office for collection of the child's HKSAR Re-entry Permit.
