In conjunction with Barrie Kosky's new production of Les Brigands, José Sciuto, deputy workshop manager, guides us into the heart of the Paris Opera's painting, sculpture and upholstery workshops to tell us all about this production's abundant sets.

Led by Ching-Lien Wu since 2021, the Paris Opera Choruses are one of the largest ensembles of their kind in the operatic world, composed by 100 tenured artists - 45 women and 55 men, coming from 23 different European, but also American, Asian and African countries.
The Junior Ballet. The Junior Ballet is made up of 18 dancers aged between 17 and 23, recruited by competition. A further 6 dancers will join from September 2025. Palais Garnier is open from 10am to 4pm except closures (see calendar). The monument closes at 5 p.m. For reasons related to theater activity, the auditorium is regularly inaccessible to visitors and some areas may be closed. Due to the number of visitors, online booking only guarantees entry to the Palais Garnier.

At the Palais Garnier Box office (at the corner of the rue Scribe and rue Auber - 75009 Paris): from Monday to Saturday (except on bank holidays) and from 10 am to 6:30 pm and 1 hour before the performances.
The Paris Opera has two opera houses: the Palais Garnier and the Opéra Bastille. In compliance with the Vigipirate plan, access to the Paris Opera theatres is subject to a proximity control and checking of personal belongings, in particular by means of a secure portal system.
