  1. 2023年6月1日 · We decided on Tokyo-Kyoto-Hiroshima-Osaka-Tokyo for a total of 20 nights and then just do some short day trips from those bases, with flexibility for weather and baby-related delays. This doesn’t answer your question directly but just a fellow baby-parent chiming in… impossible to see it all (though we want to!!!) so might as well slow down and really soak in what we can.

  5. Travelling in tokyo with a baby can be fun if you are well prepared. If you are in the main city area such as Tokyo , Shinjuku , Shibuya etc, you need to stock up on diapers, milk powder etc. these are not easily available at normal departmental stores.

  6. If there are two of you that can walk up and down stairs without difficulty carrying a stroller or baby then you will not have a problem with a 16 month old. You probably want a decent quality umbrella stroller or a compact folding stroller.
