  4. China’s Air Quality Index accounts for six primary pollutants: PM 2.5, PM 10, CO, O 3, NO 2 and SO 2. A daily and real-time AQI is reported, along with a forecasting AQI. The current AQI was formulated by the Department of Science, Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Environment [1].
