2024年3月18日 · Over the last 45 years, CIBSE Hong Kong has been instrumental in championing sustainability, energy efficiency and excellence in the built environment. The Hong Kong Region has forged long-lasting partnerships with many organisations who value their contribution.
The CIBSE Hong Kong Region celebrated its 45th anniversary with a dinner in March. It was CIBSE’s first non-UK region and remains the largest one, representing 15% of the Institution’s membership. Around 450 guests attended the event, and the guest of honour was Victor Tai, JP, Under Secretary for Housing, The Government of the HKSAR.
CIBSE HK Awards. About the Awards. Riding on the success of CIBSE Building Performance Awards (BPA) in UK, the new CIBSE Hong Kong Awards programme on Building Services Engineering as pilot in Hong Kong context initiated by CIBSE Hong Kong Region (HKR) was first launched in 2019.
CIBSE is a co-organiser of the one day event, alongside the Building Services Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, ASHRAE’s Hong Kong Chapter, and BEEE. There were four sessions grouped around the themes of: codes and guidance; design and research; operation and application; and maintenance and performance.
