   香港乳癌基金會於2005年成立，是本港首間專注乳健教育、患者支援、研究及倡議的非牟利慈善組織，致力減低乳癌在本地的威脅。 「及早發現 治療關鍵」 作為前線醫護人員的我，每天接觸受乳癌不同階段影響的病人。 我對她們的照顧和治療，正持續地提醒我自己這句格言的關鍵性，並使我更加意識到廣泛發佈乳健知識、定期乳房檢查及本港乳癌全面護理服務的確相當重要。 若乳癌能被及早發現，治療會相對簡單，存活率亦會較高。 香港乳癌基金會的使命正是填補現時市民與患者對乳健資訊和支援服務的實際需要，與本港相關醫療服務的縫隙。 過去20年，乳癌一直是本港女性的頭號癌症，亦是第三位致命的癌症；而本港女性患上乳癌的累計終生風險比率由2000年每23人中有1人，增加至2018年每14人中有1人，反映乳癌對本港婦女威脅甚大。
