2021年3月6日 · My E6430 has the i5-2520M CPU. According to the same table if I want to upgrade to i7 4 cores CPU I will have to go for the i7-2715QE which has TPM of 45W instead of 35W of my current CPU. Is it possible to upgrade to this i7 without problems?
2016年12月17日 · RAM speed depends on the CPU installed. If this is an i5-2520m or other i5 from that generation, the memory controller aboard the CPU can't run RAM at 1600 MHz. yes its 2520 m. updated with the new bios a23. but according to intel, sandybridge can handle 1600 mhz ram. hopefully dell engineers could fix this.

2016年10月11日 · Hello, I have a Dell Precision m6600 with an Intel i5-2520m inside. Now i'm wondering if i could replace the i5, with a Intel i7-2630qm. I read on the intel website that both CPU have the same socket (988B rPGA), so thats not a issue?? Can anyone help me with this question?

I would like to upgrade the CPU and in the owners manual it say's supports i3/i5 and i7 CPU'S but I can't find anywhere that lists the CPU's I can upgrade to that will work with the BIOS.
