  2. L.A. Forum is an independent nonprofit organization that instigates dialogues on design and the built environment through public programming, exhibitions, and publications. It features the work of emerging and boundary-pushing designers in Los Angeles and beyond.

  3. Please join the LA Forum for a pre-release private screening of the recent film about the renowned Sri Lankan architect, Geoffrey Bawa, directed by Afdhel Aziz with cinematography by Paul Vu. Following the screening, Los Angeles-based architect Ravi GuneWardena will present a short overview of the work of Bawa and end with a Q&A with the film makers Aziz and Vu.

  4. The projects may originate in LA, but the ideas apply everywhere. Founded in 2004 by co-principals Claus Benjamin Freyinger and Andrew Holder, the firm has offices in Venice, CA and Cambridge, MA. We work at all scales, from furniture to multi-unit buildings, and have completed projects in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, and the United Kingdom.

  5. Monica is an architect and founder of There There, an architecture studio that fluctuates between research and practice, and between LA, Mexico City, and Madrid. Through architectures, counternarratives, and fictions, her practice challenges dominant worldviews, materializes alternative imaginaries, and catalyzes meaningful experiences.
