瑪利曼小學是傳統英語學校， 中、英、數、視覺藝術科和常識科等大部分科目，均以英語授課，從而增加學生接觸英語的時間。 學校錄取了不少外籍學生入讀，現任校長馬李敏慧亦是瑪利曼舊生，她笑言：「讀小學時全班約有一半外籍同學，為了跟她們玩耍，只有硬着頭皮說英語，由此鍛煉出英語能力。 英語拼音 初小獨立教. 早於瑪利諾修女創立瑪利曼小學時，已把英文拼音（Phonics）重新整理為一套系統性教學方法，作為正規英語課堂的教學材料，新入職的英文老師須要接受該套英語拼音訓練，「我們把英語拼音定為小一至小三單獨教授的課程，小四至小六則會把拼音融入英文課程中，希望學生盡早掌握發音技巧。 」馬校長說。

1961. The school moved to 336 Tai Hang Road and provided 24 classes for over 900 students. 1978. The Maryknoll Sisters handed over the administration of the school to the Columban Sisters after 52 years of service. 1983. The school was renamed Marymount Primary School. 1997.
