Indicates the model year of the vehicle (e.g. B:1987 or 2011). Must sometimes be read with postion 7 in the VIN, in order to make an accurate determination. The plant in which the vehicle was manufactured. The code varies with each manufacturer. These last six digits are used to identify a specific vehicle within the border Year/Make/Model class.

The Outlander motor is a 2.4 litre engine, like the Galant has. The torque rating is at 157 lb-ft @ 2500 RPM. This is were you will find the power. Most vehicles do not reach there peak torque until 3500+ RPM. I think this is going to have more power than people think. Just need to try it when it comes out.

The entire section itself is a little less than 11" in diameter, with the mounting holes being almost exactly 10" apart from each other. I put some Polyfill in the factory box, seems to have helped some.

I've owned a 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander since November 2005 and had to replace my tires at roughly 40,000 miles. I had a bit of a limited budget and purchased Fuzion ZRi P22560R16 tires. Given the wintery conditions here, I've found these handle quite well in the inclement weather.
