香港理工大學 （英語： The Hong Kong Polytechnic University ， 縮寫 ： PolyU ），簡稱 理大 ，是一所坐落於 香港 九龍 紅磡 的公立應用 研究型大學 。 其前身是1937年創立的香港官立高級工業學院，此後歷經多個發展階段，並在1994年升格為大學，成為八間 大學教育資助委員會 （教資會）資助的法定公立大學之一。 理大是香港頂尖的大學之一 [4] ，現時屬於「 QS世界百強大學 」、「 泰晤士高等教育世界百強大學 」及「 美國新聞與世界報道世界百強大學 」。 理大共有九個學院，包括工程、建設及環境、工商管理、醫療及社會科學、人文、時裝及紡織、設計、理學院、酒店及旅遊業管理學院，轄下共有26個 學系 ，40多個研究實驗室、研究院及研究中心。
