There are many good universities like Bath and St Andrew's which are not part of the Russell group. If research is what you are into, the Russell group is a good place to start. 2014年3月5日 · SlowlorisIncognito. The Russel group is mainly a research group, and they don't represent the top universities for every subject. Therefore it's perfectly possibly to get into a Russel group uni with less than stellar grades. GCSEs don't matter that much for most applications.
I'm NOT basing my choices on 'Russell Group' Universities.. My question is just a general question, I already know which Universities I am applying to and only 1 or 2 will be in the Russell Group. Ok that's fair sorry, too used to people screaming out on TSR about "which uni should I go to based on prestige" I just want to tell them to grow up hehe.

At around this time last year, I received my A-Level results and was disappointed to see that I had achieved AAB instead of the AAA required for my firm choice.
