  2. Its interesting that Ryobi have brought back an 18v mower that can work on one or two batteries (with a claimed 25% incease in power on two), but with a brushless mower. Its not cheap (partly because of the 6.0Ah battery they include), but is an interesting option particularly for those already in their 18V system.

  3. Ryobi are owned by Techtronic Industries who produce Milwaukee (Trade), AEG (middle of the road), and Ryobi (home owner/DIY). Personally I'm a fan of Bosch 18v Blue stuff (have jigsaw, bandsaw, drills), or Milwaukees M12 (have drill & impact driver) stuff.

  4. Ryobi is a "home brand" now days, sold exclusively in Australia by Bunnings hardware chain stores. whilst Home Depot have the exclusive sales rights in the States. Ryobi cordless is pretty low-end stuff (like Harbor Freight quality)... so it's confusing why would you bother with that when you have such a wide range of far better equipment in ...

  5. I've used the 18v and 36v Ryobi line trimmers. I prefer the 18V for my standard suburb block. It has a lot less power and is slower but is still chews through buffalo acceptably, it's lighter and more forgiving (less prone to scalping the lawn). The 36v would be better if you had a lot of longer grass.

  6. I'd probably choose something different if paying RRP. Maybe Ryobi because they're decent quality, seem to be the cheapest, have a bigger range of tools and the convenience of bunnings. About the only thing that bugs me about the AEG is the weight, and the lack of a smaller/lighter battery.

  7. Yes, there are plenty of adaptors to physically connect brand X battery to brand Y skin. About the only exception is FROM Ryobi to other. That's because of the physical shape of the Ryobi battery. There are plenty of TO Ryobi though. But for pretty much all of the slide on style you can find / make an A to B adaptor.

  8. 2009年4月12日 · 04.01.2018. Akku-Kompatibilität über Marken hinweg. #1.

  9. Thanks. Most common reason 2-strokes won't fire (assuming you havn't left the run switch in the off position) is the fuel mix is so rich it swamps the spark – otherewise known as "being flooded". Do the following for a flooded engine: Take out the spark plug, dry it with a rag and put aside -in the sun is good.

  10. There is a yellow trigger/switch on the side of the motor that has 3 modes –. 1st one is choke, 2nd is starter, 3rd is full. As soon as i flick the yellow switch up to the full setting the motor stops. I've also notice a small oil leak coming from the back of the motor. I have had this line trimmer for 5 years, it's a Ryobi 2 stroke petrol.
