   从软壳的面料上看，为满足在恶劣的气候条件下正常使用，TAD采用了Schoeller公司含有77%尼龙、17%聚酯及6%氨纶的尼龙面料来制作软壳。 这种面料的手感比较柔软、平滑，没有粗糙感。 吊牌上说这种面料具有一定的弹性，但笔者经过实际拉伸后，感觉面料的弹性并不大。 这件软壳属于TAD公司的LT系列产品（LT为单词“Light”的缩写，中文“轻量化”之意），测量后发现，它重量仅为760克左右（M尺码），对于一件软壳，这个重量已经很轻了。 软壳除了采用Schoeller的尼龙面料之外，同时还应用了这家公司另外的3项专利技术，它们分别是c_change防水透气膜技术、3XDRY防水快干技术以及coldblack抗暴晒/紫外线技术。
