Hey ZTian, you can definitely use your TD Canada Trust account with Paypal. I have done it and it is very easy. All you need to do is: Go to your Paypal preferences. Click on the link, "add a bank account". Enter your bank information that is requested, which is: a) Your bank transit #. b)Your bank institution #. c) Your bank account #.

I'm trying to confirm my bank so I can receive a payment. It tells me "We sent 2 small deposits (less than $0.50) to your [bank] account and retrieved them in 1 withdrawal." But when I go to my bank's website nothing comes up. How can I get this to work? I'm in the US.
I have a TD Small Business (Community) account. EVERY time I try to link it, I get all the way through to where Paypal recognizes the account (I log in with my TD info and password, get a text verification code from TD). THEN Paypal seems to think it's a savings account, not a chequing account, even though it's definitely a chequing account.
Is the routing number for TD Canada Trust really "000427542"? I have a US dollar account there, but can't seem to link my PayPal account to it. Because of that classification Paypal is unable to add the bank account under any circumstances. TD Bank is one of the largest banks in the northeast and that routing number is the one that they use for all accounts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island so there are 10s of thousands of bank accounts affected by this issue if that is in fact the case.

I’ve tried multiple times to confirm my bank account through the quick way (entering my username & password for my bank account) but I keep on getting “Something went wrong we couldn’t link your bank”. So I tried to do it the other option but still nothing! Could someone please help it’s urgent.
I am trying to set up my new debit account that i have with td canada trust. The transit number for that bank is simply four numbers. Paypal will not allow me to enter a transit number with less than 5! help.
