香港最頂尖大律師事務所，起碼以民事訴訟而言（刑事訴訟又是另一個光景，有機會再討論），相信Temple Chambers是眾望所歸。 多年前，筆者還是二十出頭的法律系學生（轉眼已經邁向中年了），蒙前輩賞識及提攜，有幸在Temple Chambers實習一段時間。 這段經歷，固然大開眼界，當時看來卻只是「其中一份Internship/ Mini Pupillage」，未領略甚麼道理或立即可實踐的智慧。 但多年後，幸運地在事務律師行業站穩陣腳，甚至轉眼間自己開了律師行了一段時間，回想這段經歷，可謂終身受用。 在Temple Chambers實習的體驗（當時而言） 大部分實習都在暑假期間進行，但高等法院每年8月放暑假，不開庭處理民事官司。
